Medicaid Transportation
Marble Valley Regional Transit District offers a free Medicaid Transportation program for qualified Medicaid recipients. We work with those who need the service to authorize and arrange trips to medical, Reach-up and fair hearing appointments. Trips may be provided and reimbursed through fixed routes, volunteers or taxi—depending on which is least expensive. 48 hour notice is required for transportation within Rutland City and 48 hour notice for out of area transport.

Complementary Paratransit
As required by the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act), Marble Valley Regional Transit District offers free point-to-point service within ¾ of a mile of the fixed route system. This service is available for individuals who are registered and certified as ADA eligible. Service operates during the same schedule as the Rutland City fixed route.

Recovery Job Access
Recovery and Job Access (RJA) is a staple program at Marble Valley providing free transportation for those struggling with substance use disorders. It enables those in recovery to keep up to date with their medical needs. It offers up to 30 days of free transportation for those who are in need of assistance getting to a new job. The full list of state-approved service needs is below. Note: This list is tentative, please refer to Recovery Access Roadmap - Rutland to see if you are currently qualify based on state guidelines.

- Job Access (training, interviews, and initial commutes ten (10) round trips and is capped at thirty (30) round trips)

Marble Valley O&D Program
Marble Valley's O&D Program is a free transportation service for older adults and persons with disabilities residing within Rutland County. Riders can be taken to medical visits, grocery shopping, job interviews, and even on trips out of town!
Residents of Rutland County have essential needs that must be met. Sadly, not everyone has the luxury of a private vehicle or can rely on our bus system for daily travel. This is where the Marble Valley O&D Program steps in to make a difference. As a vital component of the Vermont Older Adults and Persons with Disabilities Transportation Program, the Marble Valley O&D Program guarantees safe and dependable transportation for individuals aged 60 and above, as well as those living with an ADA-defined disability. Participants can access rides to medical appointments, job interviews, essential shopping trips and more.

VeggieVanGo
Marble Valley Regional Transit District is happy to offer free transportation for the VeggieVanGo program by the Vermont Foodbank. VeggieVanGo enables people from all walks of life access to fresh produce. There are no eligibility requirements for participation in VeggieVanGo. The Bus leaves the transit center at 9:15AM on the first Friday of every month. Please check our social media or use the contacts below to gain further information.
